Visiting Scholar – Cassidy R. Sugimoto

Summary of the project

Cassidy R. Sugimoto is professor at the School of Public Policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta GA, United States). She is one of the most renown researchers in the field of scientometrics and research assessmen. She is president of the International Society for Scientometrics and Informetrics and chair of the School of Public Policy at Ivan College of Liberal Arts.

This project intends to reinforce collaboration ties between the EC3 research group, the visiting scholar and her team. To do so, the project is centered around the topic of international scientific mobility and its consequences for knowledge production. The project is structured around three interconnected agendas: research, teaching and outreach.
