Bio in English

Nicolas Robinson-Garcia is a researcher in the field of bibliometrics and research evaluation. He currently enjoys a Ramón y Cajal grant at the University of Granada (Spain). He worked previously as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow at Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics, TU Delft (Netherlands), the School of Public Policy at Georgia Institute of Technology and at INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) in Spain. He holds a PhD on Social Sciences at the University of Granada. He is member of the Steering Committee of the European Summer School for Scientometrics. He has published over 40 articles and book chapters in the field of bibliometrics and research evaluation, including in elite journals like Nature, Science or Plos One. He is Associate Editor of the journal Frontiers in Research Metrics and Analytics in the section on ‘Research Assessment’ and member of the editorial board of Research Evaluation, Quantitative Science Studies and Scientometrics.

Nicolas Robinson-Garcia es investigador en bibliometría y evaluación de la ciencia. Es investigador Ramón y Cajal en la Universidad de Granada. Anteriormente trabajó como investigador postdoctoral Marie Sklodowska-Curie en el Instituto de Matemática Aplicada de Delft, TU Delft (Países Bajos). También ha trabajado en la Escuela de Política Pública de Georgia Institute of Technology y en INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) en España. Tiene un doctorado en Ciencias Sociales por la Universidad de Granada. Es miembro del Comité Directivo de la European Summer School for Scientometrics. Ha publicado más de 40 artículos y capítulos en el ámbito de la bibliometría y la evaluación de la ciencia en revistas como Nature, Science o Plos One. Es editor asociado de Frontiers in Research Metrics and Analytics en la sección ‘Research Assessment’ y miembro del comité editorial de Quantitative Science Studies y Scientometrics.
